Banff/Canmore Directions, Canmore Map

Map #1 Map #2

Coming from Calgary on the Trans Canada Highway (Highway 1) take the second exit (Exit 89) for Canmore.

Keep right at the first 2 intersections, then you will cross the highway that you just came on and go straight across the next 2 lights, but stay in the right lane.

Then you come to a 4-way stop, go straight across. After the 4-way stop you will see the Canmore Crossing complex on the right hand side. Go just past it and turn right.  The condo complex is very centrally located to restaurants, stores, and various other amenities.  Also, very centrally located for access to hiking and skiing.

In general if you plan to stay in the town of Canmore itself the condo is within walking distance to most shops, and interest points.  However, this being the Canadian Rockies if you wish to see the Rockies and other areas such as Banff and Lake Louise we recommend you rent a car or purchase excursions with some of the travel companies in the area (see the activities page).

There is some bus service on Greyhound Bus between Canmore and some of the other local towns/cities, such as Calgary, Banff or Lake Louise (Lake Louise Jct).  See up and to the right for some help in navigating the Greyhound Bus website.

There are also a number of Airport Shuttle Services between the Calgary.  This link will take you to the most popular Airport Shuttle services on Google.

To our knowledge there is no regular train service from the Calgary International Airport to Canmore, or the other towns.
