Canmore Crossing Photo Gallery (Banff vacation rental)
2 Bedroom, Loft Suite #403C

The pictures here are from one of the better equipped 2 bedroom units.  Extras in this unit are a HD 42″ TV, with DVD player, with surround sound, and a Microsoft XBox 360.  Higher end individual coil mattresses on the two main beds.  Heated slate floor, field stone gas fire place, water and ice dispensing fridge, dishwasher, great mountain view with extra large windows.

Yes, the first 10 photos were taken from the actual suite.  Here is a comment sent through an e-mail from a guest from Australia “I don’t think I have stopped talking about Canada since I got home.  Everyone is going ‘Wow’ to the photos I took from the window in your condo” (the photos below are not from that guest but taken by the owners but it helps to show how great the view is).  One of the most common questions about the photos is whether this is what people will actually get if they rent the suite – yes, this is it.  The photos after the BBQ photo are of the condo complex, and immediate surrounding area as detailed in the text.

Family Room

Family Room picture which shows the mountains out the very large window. Field Stone gas fire place, 42″ large screen HD TV, with XBox, and DVD player, stereo, leather furniture (couch pulls out to a queen size bed). The picture was kept a little bit dark to pick up the mountains out the window.

Here is an example of the types of sunrises you may see from the suite. This was taken from the balcony of the suite.

Kitchen

This shot shows the kitchen with water and ice dispensing fridge, heated slate floor, dining table which comfortably seats 6 people, oven, dishwasher. Stairs going up to the loft bedroom.

Loft Bedroom

The loft bedroom has a queen size bed, dresser, closet, night tables, alarm clock, phone, romantic soaker bathtub, and vanity (sink) area.

Main Floor Bedroom

The main floor bedroom has a closet, alarm clock, comfortable queen size bed and large dresser.

A 4 piece, shower, tub, toilet, sink, bathroom with heated tile floor.

BBQ with mountains for your backdrop

The unit has a balcony with a Weber BBQ and a couple of chairs

Fitness Room

A small fitness room right in the complex for those days you don’t want to get your excerise outside. More equipment than most home gyms but not up to par with a place you might have a membership to. There is a full washroom, fairly versatile weight machine, treadmill, bike, and other equipment.

8 Person Hot Tub

A roof top hot tub to loosen up after a full day of mountain excercizing. There is also an indoor hot tub in building 1140.

From the hottub area you get a very good view of the surrounding mountains. This is looking towards the fairly famous Three Sisters mountain range

Very Centrally Located

3 Minute drive to the Eastern entrance to Banff. Located in the centre of town, in the midst of a number of stores, just a couple minute walk to Bow Valley Trail, or quaint old downtown.

We can book you in to most of the units in Canmore Crossing. This picture shows the location of suite 403. It also shows the mountain ranges to the north and south.

Part of 3 buildings, 1120, 1140 and 1160 Canmore Crossings. This picture while not the best shows that Canmore itself is in a valley between the mountains. A number of other buildings have gone up since this shot was taken in 2002. Just a few steps out the door there is now 2 large grocery stores, Quiznos (sub sandwiches), Starbucks (coffee), a few liquor stores, movie rentals, pharmacy, pubs, the list goes on.

View from downtown (8th) and Railway Ave

If you’ve been to Canmore before you may know where the Drake Inn and Restaurant is (near where this photo was taken). This photo was taken from the corner of the old quaint downtown main street and Railway Ave. It is a very large picture but I include it to show that the condos are in the centre of things.

Convenience is just 4 floors down

Beer and Liquor store right in building, along with Quizno’s subs, just steps outside the west end of the building (this is the east end) is Starbucks. A new sporting goods store and video store are located right about where this picture was taken from.

Large Grocery Stores

2 Large Grocery Stores (Sobeys, and Safeway – Sobey’s used to be an IGA) are located just steps from the condo. Plus the picture shows another example how you see the mountains everywhere you turn.
