All rates in US$, and subject to 13% sales taxes unless otherwise listed. The Costa Rican government may change the tax rate at any time and we are required to collect the appropriate amount.

Long Term Rentals

All bookings take place only with a Visa, MasterCard or you can wire the funds directly to our onsite property manager.
Last Minute Details/Value Season
In last minute situations, and during the value season we may rent 2 nights (3 nights is the normal minimum) for a $50.00 surcharge. We also give last minute discounts based on number of nights and time of year.
We give the following last minute deals:
10% for stays within 4 weeks of booking
15% for stays within 3 weeks of booking
20% for stays within 2 weeks of booking
25% for stays within 1 week of booking
Christmas/New Years
A 5 night minimum is required to book over Christmas or New Years. Costs will be prorated based on $1701 for 7 nights before tax.
Reservations
To reserve these vacation rental condos we require a deposit of 25% of the total for the rental period. Final payments for most bookings are due 30 days prior to arrival. Bookings for Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and March Break require full payment 45 days prior to arrival date!
A security deposit of $500 will be held by our onsite property manager. This can be held against a credit card or held in cash. The hold, or cash will be returned on check out with the property manager verifying that the condo and furniture have not been damaged.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Of course we hope you don’t have to change your vacation plans. However, please take note of the following in case changes are unavoidable.
Once booked there are no refunds. We are not a large hotel chain with dozens to hundreds of rooms. This is the only property we have in Tamarindo and once you reserve we block off these dates for you and no one else is able to book.
We HIGHLY recommend that you purchase some type of vacation insurance, which includes accommodation costs. Then if you must cancel your trip the insurance may (usually for major medical problems, and other critical situations) cover the cancellation costs. Here is an example of a possible trip insurance plan; however, you would need to verify with the insurance company if this type of plan would meet your needs: http://www.insuremytrip.com, or http://www.insuremytrip.ca (for Canadians). Please read through any insurance policy you purchase carefully as it will detail exactly what is, or is not, covered.
