Depending on the temperature the lake usually freezes over some point between December to March. Possibly enough for skating mid December to early March. |

The shoreline varies from areas that easily let you walk to the water to other parts that are craggy cliffs. This is the cliffy area with miniture frozen falls from a thaw/freeze. |
