5% GST will be added to all stays less than 4 weeks in length.  Prices are subject to change without notice (once you’ve booked though your price is locked in).  For deposit and cancellation information please see the bottom of this page.

*Currently we have someone hunting the property during the deer gun hunting week (3rd week in November).

Note: currently during the deer bow hunt season we will rent out for $1000.00 for up to 5 people.  If White Pine Vista is booked with hunters then Eagle View would rent for the Mid Season rate without the ability to hunt the property.

Notes:  Fees for last minute extras, such as bringing pets, or over 6 people (and the extra charges have not been paid up front) can be paid upon arrival in cash.

Last minute rates will be considered based on the length of your stay. Great for a romantic weekend for those who live in the Sudbury, Espanola area.

For the summer the minimum rental length is one week.
For Christmas/New Years the minimum rental length is 5 nights.

Manitoulin Island Cottage Rental Availability:
Saturday to Saturday rentals during Peak Season (see above schedule for Peak Season dates, generally mid June to long weekend in Sept):

Check in, Check out times: Check out by 9:00 AM, check in not before 3:00 PM and preferably before 7:00 PM, or make special arrangements.  Peak Season is rented Saturday to Saturday,  Off Season rentals can start on any day of the week and check in and out times are more flexible.

Pets: Please verify with us if you plan to bring pets.  Pets are allowed on the main level of the cottage.  We would ask that pets still not go in any room that has carpeting.  If you are allergic to certain animals and are concerned about allergies we may no longer have a cottage for you.  We will continue to buy non-allergenic materials for bedding, and building materials when we can.  We charge $50.00 extra/pet/week.  This is due to the fact that there is more likely to be scratches, wear and tear and higher cleaning fees with pets.  We also ask that the pets stay off of the furniture/beds.  We also reserve the right to charge for any damage done by a pet.

Payments should be made by cheque (or cash in last minute rentals)

Typically a deposit of $200.00/week of rental is required to hold the cottage, if booking more than one month in advance of your stay.  The remainder of the money is normally due one month prior to arrival.  I will e-mail out receipts, or the neighbour Bob can give receipts for last minute rentals.  If you are booking within a month of your stay than the full amount is due up front.

Prior to receiving a deposit we reserve the following rights:  to charge more than the typical deposit amount, to ask for the balance due sooner than one month prior to arrival.  This would normally be done for key rental periods such as long weekends, December holiday period, hunting periods, as some examples.

Waiting for Deposit – Once an agreement is made over e-mail or by phone 2 weeks time is allowed to receive a deposit cheque, provided the rental is more than 6 weeks in the future.  If you are not the person who has reserved the cottage you can add your name to a waiting list during this time and you will be contacted if the cottage becomes available.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Funds paid may be refundable depending on whether the cottage manages to rent out to someone else during the same period.

Cancellations with more than 30 days notice before arrival.  If the cottage manages to rent out to someone else for the same period the person canceling will receive back all of deposit less $50.00.  If the cottage does not manage to rent out to someone else then any funds received are not refunded.

For cancellations with less than 30 days notice before arrival.  If the cottage does not manage to rent out to someone else for the same period then the entire amount agreed to is owed.  If we are able to find other renters for the cottage then we will refund money back equivalent to what the new renter pays, less $50.00, up to the amount you paid for the rental.
