Lots of amenities – read on for details

Washer and Dryer on site. Basically all the amenities of home in a private setting (but only 10 minutes from town).
There are games, puzzles, many books (some about the area), lawn chairs/patio chairs, picnic tables, sandbox, horseshoe pits, a canoe, quite a number of things to help you enjoy your stay.
2nd Large Bedroom. Works well if there are 2 adult couples. One can use the master, the other can use this room. There is a bathroom just steps away. Has a queen bed and large window.
3rd small bedroom with a double bed. Window looking out towards the lake.
There are actually 2 cottages, that rent out separately, on over 20+ acres of land. The cottage is on a small bay, known as Patterson Bay, on a fairly large lake called Lake Kagawong. Lake Kagawong is the 2nd largest lake on Manitoulin Island. It takes about one hour to drive around the lake. Manitoulin Island has over 100 lakes and is a gorgeous example of how beautiful Ontario is.
The two cottages are private from each other, about a city block apart, with trees left in between for privacy. This cottage is tucked a little further back from the lake (about 200 feet). There is a large dock at this cottage. There is room to park 10+ vehicles in the parking area.
The property consists of about 1/2 acre of lawn around the cottage. Out in front of that is the lake, limestone shoreline (the closest public sandy beach is in Gore Bay about 15 minutes away) with trees, an open field to the east, cedar forest, mixed forest finish off the property. There is a path through the bush on the property where we’ve seen a fair bit of Ontario wildlife.
There is a bonfire area, a sand box, horse shoe pits, wash line.
There is a public boat launch about 5 minutes east of the property. There is a buoy about 40 feet out from the dock that allows you to dock boats up to 30 feet long (likely longer). We ask you to use the buoy vs. the dock to tie your boat up over night, or during storms.
As the lake is quite large it is possible (rarely) to get waves 3′ plus in height. It isn’t safe to your boat, or the dock, to tie your boat to the dock in that type of weather. Were experience shows that boats out at the buoy just adjust in to the wind and have always been fine.
We have a play pen at this property (some ad sites may display it as a crib).
